Bunko Camus, Beaverton, Oregon - (July 2007)
We were all anxious to get to Loreto and try out this wonderfull facility. We were a group of 12 and rented the 4 Cabanas and Main House for 10 days. It turned out as we expected, FANTASTICO.... Although there are many good restaurants close by, we used the facility to its fullest, we cooked about every night, using the BBQ's, etc. It seemed the only time we went out to eat was for Breakfast. Jill, Rick, Les and Linda have a great facility and are wonderfull hosts. Matter of fact, several people from our group have already committed to next year. This place is NUMERO UNO in Loreto.

Linda and Les,
What a week it was!
Diane and I have enjoyed your hospitality immensely. The cabanas are wonderful and the outside food/kichen area led to many great "family style" meals. With Jill's website help, we were able to come prepared to truly enjoy Loreto. Our plans are for two weeks next year and to bring fewer clothes!! When you are in Seattle give us a call.

We really enjoyed Las Cabanas. From what we could tell, this is the best place to stay in Loreto. Jill and Rick were such good hosts.
We enjoyed fishing with Chema, and then BBQing Cabrilla and sharing a nice dinner with everyone. Our cabana was always clean and very comfortable. We were impressed with all the landscaping going on, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was fun to relax, go out in the boat, and eat (lots) every day. Thanks for making it a good stay!

Pietro Borghesi, Seattle - (Wednesday, December 28, 2005)
I was at Las Cabanas in October.
Coming from Seattle, I was dreaming of the perfect, relaxing vacation with my family under the sun. Well, the sun is not a problem in Loreto, thankfully.
Jill and Linda were the perfect hosts and the set-up was just what we were looking for. Another positive note is that having two young chilfren was not a problem at all.
We will try to be back soon!
|
|
Steve Jones, San Diego, CA - ()
If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Loreto look no further! We just got back from a week stay and I really don't know how it could have been better. The main house is one of the nicest houses in town (if there is a nicer home, it's not for rent)! We spent most of our time (when we weren't fishing) on the upper deck. The website really under-states the magnificent view of the Sea of Cortez and the islands and you will be literally steps from the water, restaurants and "watering holes"! Las Cabanas de Loreto will be my "home away from home" as long as the Clark/Jackson family will allow us to return. I checked out the cabanas while we were staying there--they are as nice as the "big house!" You can't help but relax and enjoy your self at Las Cabanas de Loreto!!!!!!
|
|
Edith and Dick, Dillon Beach, CA - ()
A wonderful place to stay in Loreto, new, spotlessly clean large rooms, quiet, with congenial hosts. Just a short walk to the center of town, and one half a block from the water. We checked in for two nights and ended up staying over two weeks! We can't recommend this place highly enough!
